Mr. Oluwatosin Onamade instituted a suit asking the Supreme Court to set aside the judgements of Federal High Court and Court of Appeal, which affirmed the legitimacy of Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun’s victory as the APC’s Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate, Ikorodu Constituency II.
The matter came up for hearing before the Supreme Court today, 22nd November 2022.
The Supreme Court considered that the Court of Appeal and the Federal High Court found that the Appellant suit was statute-barred from the trial court, the Supreme Court struck out the Appeal for want of merit.
Hon Balogun Mutairu, the coordinator of Tinubu Brigade has endorsed Hon Adewale Temitope for second term. The endorsement was made at the stakeholder meeting of the group.
According to Hon Balogun “one good term deserves another. Tope, our honorable is a performer and needs our support to remain in office in order to continue the good job”
He used the opportunity to solicited support for all APC candidates in the forth coming elections in Ifako-ijaiye, Lagos and Nigeria at large.
He also enjoined Nigerians and lovers of democracy to vote Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for president, Sanwo – Olu for governor, Idiat Adebule for Senate and Benjamin Olabinjo for house of representatives, Ifako-Ijaiye.
Meanwhile, the youth were asked not to be deceived by challaterns masquerading as democrats.

The historic 8th annual constituency stakeholders meeting held at the prestigious Igbogbo Homat event Hall recorded a successful interactive and brainstorming session on voters card registration, pvc collection, voters’ sensitization, security and uninterrupted progress and development of Ikorodu constituency 2.
The annual constituency meeting was attended by dignitaries that cut across the Local Council Development Areas (Igbogbo, Ijede, and Imota LCDAs) that made up the entire Ikorodu constituency 2.

NS Solaja added that it is pertinent for all to obtain their permanent voters cards ahead of the 2023 polls in the overall interest of Lagos State from National to assembly elections.
He made this remark at the just concluded 8th stakeholders meeting organised by the Lagos State 9th assembly, which ran concurrently across the 40 constituencies in Lagos state where he equally appreciated the All Progressives Congress(APC) members for supporting his re-election bid and the delegates who voted overwhelmingly and stood by him at the just concluded assembly primary election saying the victory belongs to them and progress of Ikorodu constituency 2.
While reeling out some of his achievement, and upcoming projects, NS specifically stated that the newly awarded reconstruction and upgrading of Obafemi Awolowo (bayeku road), Phase 1 facilitated by his office from Odofin street to igbogbo bayeku IIB Housing Estate, Igbogbo and other on-going state infrastructural projects under construction will be completed and new projects already budgeted for will be facilitated and awarded under the administration of his excellency, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwolu, the pragmatic and energetic governor of Lagos State.

Ikorodu Constituency 2 leading Aspirant, Hon. Nurudeen Solaja-Saka, on Tuesday visited His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, and the entire members of Adeboruwa-in -Council, to seek for Royal blessings ahead of the All Progressives Congress primaries.

After the successful shadow primary exercise among APC’s Ikorodu Constituency II, Lagos State House of Assembly aspirants in Ijede LCDA, and emergence of Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun as the Ijede LCDA’s chosen aspirant; the party leaders unanimously embarked on consultations to stakeholders to the royal heads in Ikorodu Constituency II.
The consultations began on Thursday, 19th May, 2022 at the palace of Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, HRM. Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I. The spokesperson for the team, Alhaji S. Ade Ajala stated that it was the desire of Ijede LCDA’s Royal, traditional and political heads to have a sole aspirant to participate in the party primary since the incumbent has refused to honor the rotational agreement.
Since all the aspirants are legitimate and bonafide indigenes of Ijede LCDA, eminently qualified and none of them was ready to step down from the race; it was thought wise to conduct an in-house primary among the aspirants and all the party leaders agreed to the shadow primary.
He furthered stated that the shadow primary was transparent in that all the aspirants were given comprehensive list of the delegates that would vote in the exercise 72 hours before exercise for them to market themselves to the delegates.

On Saturday, 21st May, 2002, the Ijede APC Chieftains headed to the house of Olubeshe of Ibeshe, HRM Oba Richard Ogunsanya; narrating the same development to the king and presenting him with the letter signed by the leaders as well as Hon.
