The 82nd Regular Meeting of the Conference of Registrars of Polytechnics and Colleges of
Technology in Nigeria (COREG) which the host school is LASPOTECH now known as LASUST due to the recent upgrade by the Lagos State Government to a University, the conference is expected to hold between Monday, 14th which is the said date of the visit to Obateru of Egbin Kingdom and Wednesday, 16th March, It is pertinent to note that COREG has, as members, Registrars from over seventy (70)
Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology. across the country and meetings are held
quarterly at member’s institutions.

As part of the program lined up, is to first visit the palace of the Obateru of Egbin to receive his royal blessings.

The Registrar of LASUST formerly known as Lagos State Polytechnic appreciate the host school Otunba Shakiru Bello, appreciates Kabiyesi Egbin for accepting to play a host to the Conference of Registrars of Polytechnic, Colleges of Technology in Nigeria.

Ag. VC of Lagos State University of Science and Technology LASUST Dr. Nurudeen Olaleye in his remarks “Kabiyesi I appreciate you for hosting us in your palace today, and this is first visit to a royal father since the assumption in office, this environment where your palace is located at is a conducive one, for you to bear the responsibility of terminal right beside your palace shows the responsibility that you’re the number one security of your people, and I pray you shall live long on the throne of your fore fathers “.

Chairman of registrar in Nigeria in her remarks “it’s a great honour to be in your palace, this is not just a visit but we are here to also to receive the royal blessing, of our opening ceremony today.”

Kabiyesi am a product of polytechnic, my wife also attended the yabatech, this is not the first time hosting the Polytechnics in my palace, narrates his obaship race, give commendation to Otunba Shakiru his Otunba in Egbin…

Give commendation to the school PRO Mr. Lanre Kuye, of his good deeds since he Kabiyesi ascend the throne of his fore fathers.”

The Obateru also promised to Best students award in art one for his name and another for his father’s memory.

Kabiyesi also charge the host school LASUST formerly known as LASPOTECH to get a place in the school premises, that he will do a solar power for the school.

Dignitaries present at the visits are the Obateru in Council, Members and Staffs of LASUST, Hon. Hammed Aroyewun, stakeholders of Egbin community amongst others.
