Adeb Foundation for Impacting Youth, a youth led non-governmental organization aimed at inculcating and influencing young people with positive values and impact.

To commemorate the International Day of Girl Child, 2020 with theme “My voice, Our equal Future” Adeb Foundation organised a writing competing for girls to display their creativity and problem solving nature in words with topic tagged: “Effectively Utilizing my strength as a Girl Child into creating a safer and better community”
The essay writing which lasted for a month received various entries from girls of ages 13-18.

After series of screening from our panel of judges three best write ups were selected
The winners namely:

1. EJEDEDAWE RACHAEL. 1st Position
2. AKANBI-BADRU AFOPEFOLORUN. 2nd Position
3. OKI VICTORIA. 3rd Position
   The three winners would be receiving monetary prizes of #6000, #5000 and #4000 respectively and their write-ups published on social media platforms of Adeb Foundation.
   The Writing competition has boosted a lot of girls into speaking out and exploring their writing skills and becoming problem solvers.
   It also helped to build their confidence and assure them they aren’t left behind
