On Tuesday, 19th May 2026, the combined body of Supervisors and Special Advisers from across Ikorodu Constituency II paid a strategic solidarity visit to their dynamic representative at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA), at his office in the Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The high-powered delegation was led by the Chairman of the Ikorodu Division Supervisors and Special Advisers Forum, Comrade AbdulLateef O. Odusanya. Speaking on behalf of the forum, Comrade Odusanya expressed deep appreciation for Hon. Abiodun’s tremendous constituency projects and impactful representation across the length and breadth of Constituency II. Highlighting the lawmaker’s visible achievements, the forum urged him to sustain his sterling, people-centered leadership.

A major highlight of the visit was the formal declaration by the forum, unanimously endorsing Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun as their sole choice for the upcoming primary election across Ikorodu Constituency II.

In his response, the distinguished lawmaker warmly welcomed the delegation, commending the leadership for their thoughtful insight in organizing the visit and pledging their unwavering loyalty to his continued representation. Hon. AMA affirmed that this massive show of solidarity by the local cabinet members serves as a powerful momentum boost, coming just hours before the crucial primary election. He reassured the delegation that more robust developmental initiatives would be rolled out across the constituency before the end of the year.

Also speaking at the event, the Director-General of the AMA Smile Foundation, Hon. Adewale Bolowotan, thanked the forum for the landmark endorsement. He assured the stakeholders that the foundation remains deeply committed to introducing even more impactful social intervention programs for the masses.

The delegation comprised Supervisors and Special Advisers drawn across the three component local council development areas of the constituency: Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, Ijede LCDA, and Imota LCDA.
