…. PRINCE LADEGA DESCRIBES REP. BABAJIMI BENSON AS A PROMISE KEEPER

Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has inspected the Kokoro Abu road, a 1.7km stretch that links to Grammar School on Obafemi Awolowo way. The inspection was carried out alongside Prince Abdul-Lateef Adedayo Ladega, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government.
Rep. Benson stated that the road construction project was part of his constituency project, which was requested by Prince Ladega after his election. He assured that construction work would commence within a month and is expected to be completed within five months.
He emphasized his commitment to fulfilling promises made to the residents of the area.
Prince Abdul-Lateef Adedayo Ladega, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, expressed his excitement about the development, thanking Rep. Benson for accepting to help construct the road.
Describing Rep. Benson as a promise keeper, he appreciated the lawmaker’s listening ear and instrumental role in delivering several infrastructural projects in Ikorodu Division.
He narrated that during their campaign, when he came to the area, residents complained about the road and he promised them it would be done. Immediately after the election, he reached out to Rep. Babajimi Benson which he affirmed it will be done, true to his words the project is now set to commence in a month’s time.
Sheikh Yahya Oshoala (As-Samadani) expressed his gratitude and admiration for Rep. Babajimi Benson for his outstanding work in transforming the area. The cleric specifically commended Rep. Benson for his initiative in rebuilding the damaged bridge the axis, which was accomplished even before he took office.
Sheikh Oshoala noted that Benson’s efforts have not only continued but also intensified since he assumed office, with more projects underway.
The cleric also advised residents of the constituency to cooperate with workers on Rep. Benson’s projects, urging them to offer assistance and avoid causing unnecessary stress.
Hon. Ameen Olawale Apanishile, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, who highlighted Rep. Benson’s contributions to the development of Ikorodu North. He cited the recently completed road project from Adamo to Olorunda and expressed optimism about future projects, including the Agbede road and Ogunleye drive.
Hon. Shotomiwa Wasiu, Councillor representing Ward D and Leader of the House, Ikorodu Local Government, expressed gratitude to Rep. Benson for his consistent delivery of projects, describing him as a “Mr. Talk-and-Do” who has earned the people’s trust.
One of the resident expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Benson, saying, “Whenever it rains, we face floods and our children can’t go to school. But we thank Jimi Benson for coming to our rescue. His coming here today to inform us that the road will be reconstructed is a blessing. We are grateful to him, and Almighty God will continue to bless him.”
