
Residents of Ward C1 in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA are celebrating a significant milestone in the long-awaited Olu Odo road construction project. The excavation of drainages officially commenced today, marking the beginning of a more structured and resilient road network.
The project is expected to greatly improve road infrastructure and transportation within the community, easing traffic flow, preventing flooding, and enhancing economic activities. Once completed, the drainage system will effectively channel rainwater, preventing road deterioration and improving overall accessibility.
Hon. Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko, Councilor representing Ward C1, expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Babajimi Benson, Member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, for his dedication and commitment to bringing this development to life.
The Deputy Leader also commended the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Daini, for his unwavering support and leadership in advancing developmental projects within the LCDA.
The Councilor urged residents to remain patient and supportive throughout the construction process, emphasizing the need for proper waste disposal practices to maintain the integrity of the drainage system after completion.
