Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, inspected the ongoing Abule Eko to Ewu-Owa road project facilitated by Rep. Babajimi Benson earlier today, November 18th. She was accompanied by her team, comprising Executives, Legislative members, Management, staff, and leadership of the Community Development Committee (CDC). The project is progressing at a fast pace.

The team proceeded to Oremeta Street, where the ongoing construction project, executed by Ijede Local Council Development Area (LCDA), is progressing steadily with contractors currently on site.

Lastly they inspected the Lagos State Government Drainage project from One fold, facilitated by Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun.

According to Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba, Oremeta street links with Abule Eko road and Gberigbe road, connecting multiple communities. She extended her heartfelt appreciation to Rep. Babajimi Benson for this huge opportunity for the residents of Abule Eko, Ewu-Owa and other neighbouring communities acknowledging his significance in linking communities and enhancing the standard of living for residents.

Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba aptly described Rep. Babajimi Benson as the “Julius Berger of Ikorodu” due to his extensive road construction projects across Ikorodu Division, not just Ijede. This nickname is a testament to his tireless efforts in transforming the region’s infrastructure.

She commended him for his multifaceted contributions to Ijede LCDA and in extension Ikorodu Division development. Saying his impact extends beyond road projects, including initiatives like markets and other community-enhancing programs.

Gbadebo-Alogba expressed her appreciation, saying, “As Oliver Twist, we are asking for more”.

She also expressed gratitude to Hon. Aro Moshood for his role in facilitating the One fold drainage project, crucial for mitigating flooding during heavy downpours.

She assured the residents that her administration will continue prioritizing projects benefiting Ijede LCDA residents and collaborating with senior officials to drive growth.
