… JB vows to complete the road linking to Ita-oluwo before 2025 quarter.

In a show of gratitude and Jubilant mood for  residents of the Nine communities in Ikorodu Division, An historical feat was birthed today, 27th October 2024, as Hon. Babajimi Benson, officially commissioned the Olunla-Agbede Roads.

” This is another promise fulfilled to the good people of Agbede community of Ikorodu Division, as a reward for their monumental votes during the last general elections, as we ensure no community is left out in delivering, dividends of Democracy” – Hon. Babajimi Benson.

Oba Abdulkabir Adewale Shotobi, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Babajimi Benson for his outstanding contributions to the community. Specifically, Oba Shotobi thanked Hon. Benson for transforming Agbede Road, which was once in a deplorable state and now to a new face.

Representing the Community Development and Landlord Association was, Alhaji Abdulrasheed Adebola, the Joint CDA Chairman, who spoke on behalf of the community, as they appreciated Hon. Babajimi Benson for bringing them relief through the  aforementioned road. Considering the torment they have witnessed while, accessing the murky roads  for several years. As they appeal for more Infrastructural roads completion for their various communities. Also, The Executives of Road Transport Employers Association (RTEAN) took turns to eulogize Hon. Babajimi Benson for bringing them succour through the historical Agbede roads, which they described as their source of daily revenue generation being elevated from previous poor state to a commendable appeal.

However, A continued show of appreciation was the presentation of a beautiful horse by the CDC Vice Chairman of Agbede, to the  people’s Legislative, Hon. Babajimi Benson, as a form of solidarity and evergreen gratitude, which the MHR accepted cheerfully.

Meanwhile, In an epoch speech rendered by the Chairman House committee on Defence, MHR, Babajimi Benson  promised completion of Agbede-  Ita Oluwo link road by June 2025. As he urged the people to be patient with the current administration at the Federal and State level, He appealed to the conscience of the people that the Issue of Hunger will be resolved as the Federal and State government are making deliberate efforts to clear the debts, grow foreign reserves and also, attend  to welfare of Nigerians. While, He promised to deliver more dividends of Democracy to the good people of Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

Prince Ogunleye, Former Deputy Governor, Special Adviser to Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Hon. Nurudeen Agbaje, Prince Lanre Balogun Former commissioner on Rural development, Sir Ayodele Elesho amongst other imminent personalities.
