Rep. Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency, expressed his gratitude to his constituents for their support, stating that he owes his position to them. He made this statement during his quarterly town hall meeting with his constituents, where he assured them that he will not relent in his efforts to bring dividends of democracy to the people of Ikorodu.

Rep. Benson highlighted the importance of road infrastructure and other initiatives, crediting President Tinubu’s leadership for making it easier to implement projects that benefit citizens.

He promised to continue being the voice of his constituents, ensuring that their needs are met.

Builder Olusesan Daini, Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, applauded Rep. Benson as an outstanding leader who prioritizes the people’s welfare. He commended Rep. Benson’s commitment to the constituency, saying that his efforts go beyond road infrastructure to include human development, food palliatives, and more.

Prince Niran Ogunbanwo, CDC Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, appreciated Rep. Benson’s efforts in constructing good roads in Ikorodu federal constituency. He requested Rep. Benson’s assistance in relaying concerns about the Ishawo and Igbogbo road projects to Governor Sanwo-Olu, urging for an increase in the tempo of the projects.

According to Mrs. Olaoluwa, “If not for Jimi Benson, Erunwen road would still be the bad road it used to be. But thank God for our Messiah in Ikorodu federal constituency, who helped us with the construction. Now, Erunwen is like a small London. The road is motorable, with street lights that illuminate the area at night. Everywhere is beautiful.”
