Rep. Babajimi Benson, the Member of the House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Defence, flagged off the construction of the Igbogbo Passport office road. This construction project focuses on two important streets, namely Owolabi Shodara Street and Adeyanju Street, which are located off Akin Ogunlewe road in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

The completion of these two roads will have a significant impact on the community. Not only will they provide convenient access to the newly established Passport Office in Igbogbo, but they will also connect more than 10 Community Development Areas (CDAs) to other parts of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Builder Olusesan Daini, the Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, expressed his gratitude to God and the people of the community for re-electing Rep. Babajimi Benson to continue his excellent representation.

He commended Rep. Babajimi Benson for his tireless efforts in improving the infrastructure in Ikorodu division. The construction of this road is a direct response to the establishment of the Passport office by the Nigeria Immigration Service on December 1st.

Builder Olusesan Daini also mentioned that there are more exciting plans in the works. The construction of the Igbogbo-Ofin Oreta road, spanning approximately 11 to 12 kilometers, is set to commence soon. Additionally, there are plans to unveil other roads in line with the strategic vision of Rep. Babajimi Benson.

Hon. Adebimpe Akinshola, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to MHR Babajimi Adegoke Benson for his exceptional dedication to community development in the Ikorodu federal constituency.

Speaking about the impact of Hon. Benson’s work, Hon. Akinshola emphasized the significant improvements witnessed in the immigration service area. She acknowledged that Hon. Benson’s relentless commitment to the people and his unwavering efforts have undoubtedly contributed to enhancing the services provided by the Nigeria Immigration Service.

High Chief Adefola Ogunkan the Balogun of Igbogbo Kingdom conveyed the kabiyesi’s deep appreciation for the tremendous efforts and contributions made by Hon. Babajimi Benson. Kabiyesi recognized Hon. Benson’s remarkable work, which has positively impacted Igbogbo Kingdom and the entire Ikorodu Division.

Engr. Lateef Oduntan, representative of the Igbogbo Development Association and a member of the Akin Ogunlewe community, expressed profound gratitude for the remarkable development that has taken place in Igbogbo within just one year.

Engr. Oduntan further praised the instrumental role played by Babajimi Benson, who made a promise to the community regarding the construction of a road in Ogunlewe. True to his word, Hon. Benson delivered on his promise, bringing about positive change and improved infrastructure in the area.
