
Rep. Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu federal constituency, and his iCare Foundation earlier today distributed food packs (APO ANU) to constituents through the iCare food bank for the month of September.
The iCare Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for every resident of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has been actively involved in various projects such as BacktoSchool, #StartupIkorodu, #RoadGrading, #iCareJobCenter, and #iCareFoodBank. These initiatives aim to bring Governance closer to the people and address the needs of the community.
Through the iCare food bank, the Foundation purchases grocery food items and redistributes them in bags known as APO AANU or MERCY BAGS. These bags are specifically provided to those in need, including elderly individuals, widows, and physically challenged individuals within the Ikorodu Federal Constituency.
Yeye Funmi Bashorun, Hon. Jumoke Ademehin, the former Chairman of Ikorodu West LCDA, and Deaconess Wonuola, the Lagos East women leader of the APC, Hon. Segun Anifowoshe, and Hon. Shukurat Okeowo have expressed their admiration and appreciation for the monthly food packs (Apo Anu) distributed by Rep. Babajimi Benson in Ikorodu federal constituency. They also commended him for his numerous projects aimed at improving the community.
