… Igbe Ogunro Community Model Primary School’s construction will be completed in 6 months – Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba

Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the esteemed Executive Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area, conducted a momentous ground-breaking of Igbe Ogunro Community Model Primary School. This marked the commencement of the construction of two blocks of 12 classrooms in Igbe Ogunro Community, the groundbreaking took place earlier today, 10th of August.
In her speech, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo Alogba expressed her delight and honor in welcoming everyone to the ceremony. She emphasized the council’s promise to address the challenges faced by the educational sector, including the lack of classrooms and the growing demand for quality education.
The Chairman acknowledged the difficulty children in Oloja, Ogunro, and Kapo areas face in accessing education due to the absence of educational facilities. The ground-breaking ceremony marked a significant step towards providing a solution to this problem and ensuring that children have easy access to education.
Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo Alogba assured attendees that the construction project would be completed in record time. She emphasized her administration’s dedication to creating a conducive learning environment by providing well-equipped classrooms and essential learning materials.
The Chairman also expressed her gratitude to the community for their support and encouraged their continued involvement in the project. She recognized that their participation and encouragement are crucial for the success of the administration’s initiatives.
Lawal Olalekan Rasheed, the managing director of Care Builder, Interactive Concept, Nigeria Limited, in his remarks said, The school will consist of two blocks six classes each, making a total of 12 classrooms. In addition, an ICT classroom will be included to provide students with modern technology-based learning opportunities.
Lawal Olalekan, the contractor, also laud Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba for her thoughtfulness and proactive role in initiating this project.
The model school will feature an ICT classroom, an e-library, standard toilets, and a perimeter fence for enhanced security. Additionally, the school will have access to a reliable water supply, making it a truly comprehensive and modern educational institution.
The Council Engineer gave overview of what the school will look like according to the building plan that was showcased.
The project comprises two blocks of twelve classrooms, creating ample space for students to thrive academically. Additionally, an ICT center has been incorporated, ensuring that students have access to modern technology and digital learning resources.

Afolabi wholeheartedly commended the project, describing it as “fantastic” and expressing his sincere appreciation to Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba for the efforts put into its realization.
