As Muslim faithfuls celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, the All Progressives Congress House of Assembly Aspirant, Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon. Oluwafemi Gabriel, has urged Muslim brothers and sisters in Kosofe local government to continue to uphold and promote the core values of Islam for the sustenance of peace, unity and progress of the country.

In a Sallah message released from his media Office, Hon. Gabriel, who felicitated with Muslim faithful, also wished them the continual guidance and blessings of Allah, calling on all Nigerians to continue to supplicate for the progress of the country, through good deeds, sacrifice and abiding faith in God.

“Eld- El-Kabir is a celebration that honors the prophet Ibrahim’s selflessness and willingness to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God’s command. Let us continue to uphold and promote the core values of Islam for the sustenance of peace, unity and progress of the country.

“We should never fall short of our reputation as an inclusive society, where all religions continue to live in peace and harmony with each other.

“Lastly, let us continue to support Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu in his quest to making life more abundant for the people of Lagos State,” he said.
