Gbolahan Ogunleye join the Ikorodu Constituency 1 House of Assembly race, Gbolahan who is a former Sole Administrator of Ikorodu Local Government, also the son of former Deputy Governor of Lagos State Prince Abiodun Ogunleye.

Ikorodu Constituency 1 leaders stand firm for the aspiration of the former Sole Administrator in Ikorodu Local emphasize on his good leadership while he was the Council Mayor for 13 months in office.


The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu LG Hon. Wasiu Adeshina in his remarks ” let’s stand firm with Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye and let’s support his aspiration for a better Ikorodu Constituency 1, we the Chairmen constituting Ikorodu constituency 1 are with Gbolahan, we don’t need to fight ourselves”



Ikorodu West Chairman Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem in his own remarks “this is a clarion call for me to be here today it shows the good leadership skills Prince Abiodun Ogunleye has shown in the past years in the division, and this house has been producing people in elective position for the past twenty years and all of us are none of his family members it is time to stand tall to support his son as well.”


Hon. Adebowale Ajayi Chairman Councillors forum in Ikorodu Division gave affirmation of their support.

Ogunleye Gbolahan Adetokunbo known as OGA in his speech ” I appreciate the great leaders of Ikorodu Constituency 1 for standing by me, and gracing this great occasion I never take this for granted, I promise for a greater Ikorodu, a good representation at the Lagos State House of Assembly if given the opportunity, I’ll ensure I have a good relationship with the constituents, I’ll facilitate projects in Ikorodu as much as I can”.

Later at the event the foot soldiers of the OGA campaign team were inaugurated, presented letter of appointments, then decorated with the campaign sourveniers.

Prince Abiodun Ogunleye the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and the member of Governor’s Advisory Council in the state in his remarks ” I never force my son to contest, and it was the leaders of the party in Ikorodu constituency 1 that spoke to me to allow him to contest,as you all know me in the past years I’m not a authoritarian Leader.”

Others present at the occasion are Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Hon. Adeola Banjo, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, Mrs. Oshinowo Wonuola, Party leaders in Ikorodu Constituency 1, Chairmen of the party, Vice Chairmen, Councillors, Supervisors amongst others.
