Lagos Traffic Radio has clinched the year 2021 Marketing Edge Summit and Awards as ‘Innovative Traffic Radio Station of the year 2021’.

The General Manager of the Station, Mr. Tayo Akanle, in the company of some management staff, received the award on behalf of the station at the event held at D”Podium International Event Centre, Aromire Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos.

In his remarks, Akanle thanked Marketing Edge Publications Limited for the Award, saying that it will spur the Station to do more in providing real-time traffic updates for Lagos residents.

He added that the Station will continue to work in tandem with the T.H.E.M.E.S Development Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.

Earlier, the Publisher/Chief Executive Officer, Marketing Edge Publications Limited, Mr. John Ajayi, noted that Lagos Traffic Radio was recognised for attaining a high level of performance and achievements over the years by revolutionising its sub-sector as an iconic brand.

Ajayi maintained that the station has brought so much innovation to Programme/Product development, Programming, Service offering, Branding, International Standard Compliance, and Customer Service, which has elevated its position among others in audience reach and market penetration.
