The Principal of Ajumoni Senior Secondary School, iyana isolo, Mushin Mr olukayode Ogunyemi has hailed the organizer of Young Leaders Hub Project (YLHP) while commending the students for making donations to the school.
The project is an in-school leadership and personal development program to groom Secondary School students across the country to be effective leaders to their immediate environment and among their peers.
According to the Convener of the project Amb. Abiodun Ajayi who said the project is aimed at tapping into the passion and energy of the young people by helping them discover their leadership strength and raise them to solve social problems around them.
Ajayi explained that the program which featured intensive training sessions helped them to identify the social problems in their school.
This influenced the students to donate six waste bins to enhance waste disposal management and also a bedspread to the school sickbay.
He explained that the project had been carried out in Ejigbo High School and Ilupeju Grammar School is next being one of the schools in district 6 selected for the first phase pilot of the project as some schools in ogun state have called to replicate such program in their school.
Commenting on the program the School Principal describe it as fantastic and laudable project noting that it was the first of it’s kind to be organized in their school.

The Coordinator of the Young Leaders Ambassadors who is one of the student trained Obiekwe Chukwuma said it cost just 9000 naira to purchase the items donated. We are grateful for the motivation and teachings given to us by Young Leaders Hub Project team.
