
Children Education Fund (CHEF) Week is usually Organised in Commemoration of the Children’s Day Celebration of students in Senior Secondary School in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA. It’s a way to know outstanding students in the society and also an avenue to test knowledge of the students based on what they have been taught in their schools.
The reason CHEF was introduced, basically a means of unification and synergy between the public and private schools in the society.
The Competition also have in attendance important personalities from Ikorodu Division which they also give the students word of advice and encouragement; Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe Former Minister of Works, Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Oba Vice Chairman Ikorodu LG, Hon. MKO Arowolo Councillor Ward C4 Igbogbo-Baiyeku, Princess Basirat Adetutu APC Councillorship Candidate Ward C1 Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
Hon. MKO Arowolo admonished the Students to be a good ward from their respective schools, also implore them not to join bad gang, using himself as an encouragement of how emerge the best Councillor in Lagos State and Nigeria at large, that they can be better than him in the nearest future.
he states; “Be careful how you to treat people around you, you never can say they might help you tomorrow”.
“if you don’t determine what future you’ll have today.”
Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Oba states: “Don’t take education for granted, because with education you can be a better person in the nearest future” she also urged the Students to be a good Ambassador of their various schools and great Ambassador for Ikorodu Division at large.”
Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe “In our community we don’t have statistics of professionals we’re producing in our LCDA, Let’s work together to create 500 Doctors, 500 Engineers etc in our community.”
“Every student must have access to computer atleast once in a day, in order to have experience with CBT exams.”
Princess Basirat Banjoko “Don’t just dream work towards it,The only thing that can stop you from being you is you.”
