-Visits Gbagada general hospital
The chairman of Bariga Local Council, Hon Kolade Alabi today celebrated his birthday at Modupe Cole Memorial school for special people. In his usual manner, he referred to them as his special friends, he pointed that he is more than happy to identify with them always.
In his speech at the occasion to mark the day, he gave thanks and admonition to Almighty God who has been his guide and guard all over the years. He said he chose to celebrate with the special people because they need to be shown love and affection, and we also need to make them understand they are a part of the society, and need not to be stigmatized; because only God is able.
The council mayor, in a birthday devoid of any funfair, appreciated God and the students by offering employment to one(1) of them to compliment those that are already employed by the council.
” I will continue to remember you in my prayers and pay you unscheduled visit even as I promise to remain your friends forever ” Alabi said.
The ALGON president also paid a visit to Gbagada General Hospital to support the less privileged financially. He supported indigents and destitutes patients by paying for minor and major treatments.
He was joined by his Vice, Hon Adeola Zainot Kuponiyi, Hon Biodun Orekoya- commisioner local government service commission, Hon Bukola Adedeji- SLG , while the leader of the house, Hon Temitope Okanlawon led other Bariga Council Legislators. Also in attendance were supervisors, SAs, Special Assistants, Youths, Party members, Council Staff led by the HOA, Mrs Adenike Owolabi, as well as friends and well wishers.
