I am Abdulrahaman Ajasa, Born into the AJASA family, From: Shokun Royal Family Of Lagos/Ijede, Oniru Royal Family, Lambo Lasuwon & Rademo Ruling House.
I’m the last born of Four children. I was born and raised in Ikorodu (Lagos SouthWest
I am a recent graduate of Mass Communication at the Lagos State Polytechnic Ikorodu.
Most People know me through my social media activities as a Socialite, And with that i have been approached by a lot of people who i barely know but to a more positive reviews.
My love for politics started a long time ago as a very young boy, Following my Mum to different meetings during the time of Alliance for Democracy AD in the administration of our Great Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It has been a part of me before I fully joined in the year 2016 and since then i have been actively participating in party activities, meetings from Zone, Ward, LGA & also stakeholder meetings etc.
I fully got myself involved in 2019 campaign for the current Governor Of Lagos State, Mr Babajide SanwoOlu, to H.E. President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, to our respective representatives from federal level Late Senator Adebayo Oshinowo & Hon. Babajimi Benson, to the State level, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, Which has made me learn a lot and given me more experiences.
Sadly, In 2020 we lost our beloved Sen. Bayo Oshinowo, and Senator Tokunbo Abiru emerged as our party’s candidate as the senator to represent Lagos East Senatorial District. During the campaign, I was part of his Campaign Community Influencers. With the glory of Almighty Allah, he emerged as the Senator representing the good people of our Senatorial District, Lagos East.
“Yes I am happy and proud about what I do”.
I know a lot of personalities both within and outside Lagos based on my curiosity to grow & understand the Nigeria politics, It is a plus to me as the Yorubas will say “Mofi Eyan mimo Se Oro” meaning my Wealth is as a result of meeting people.
Last year, on the 19th of September, Senator Babafemi Ojudu Special Adviser to the president on Political Matters, showered an epistle on me through his social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin. In the same vein I was invited for his book launch “Politics that works”, the book that gave an insight to what you need to know about the Nigeria Political system. See the write-up below.
With the Glory of Almighty Allah Senator Babafemi Ojudu fulfilled his Promise, a day to the book launch, which was October 4th, I was already in Abuja, all expenses paid by him . On the day of the launch, I was elated to be present in the midst of different dignitaries like the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo who was the Chairman of the occasion.
After the book launch, Distinguished Senator Babafemi Ojudu introduced me to the vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and he asked me what I was doing asides politics, I told him about my blog Ajasa-Info. I never expected I’ll be meeting the Number 2 citizen of the federation and the fact that I will even have the opportunity to have a conversation with him, special thanks to Sen. Babafemi Ojudu and Allah for making this possible.
2021 has been a great year for me, I pray year 2022 will be more glorious and I should have a brighter rewarding future (BRF) as this is the acronym of our former Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola who is currently the Minister of Works and Housing of the federation.
I commend this current administration ably led by Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, since his assumption in office, he has been doing wonderfully well with the tremendous projects he has been doing in the state, which I implore him to do more. As a young chap I see myself as the number one citizen of this great state in the nearest Future and with the help of Almighty Allah all things are possible I believe.
My vision is to make sure all kids are not on the streets of which this administration is also trying their best to accomplish. I envision having a special team for that across the 20 LGs and 37 LCDAs of the state that will be taking care of that.
Also ensure we engage the youths in terms of Entrepreneurship and many career opportunities. I will also engage the youths in a monthly talk whereby we’ll bring different coaches, Young Achievers, that will talk to them and gear them to be a better person in our society, of which I believe as time goes by it will touch their lives in a positive way.
I wish my humble self a HAPPY BIRTHDAY as I celebrate another year.
