Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Prince Oladega Ibrahim Kehinde ‘Dega’ as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Political Mobilization and Strategy.
The appointment takes immediate effect, signaling the Governor’s continued efforts to strengthen political coordination and grassroots engagement across the state.

Prince Oladega, fondly known as “Dega,” is a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State. He has remained a visible and vocal party loyalist, playing key roles in mobilizing support for the party, particularly during electioneering periods in his primary constituency, Agboyi Island.

Over the years, he has handled several strategic assignments for the party, including coordinating grassroots mobilization efforts and anchoring major political and governance-related events. Known for his eloquence and media savvy, Dega has also contributed significantly to publicity and communication efforts within the party structure.

His political experience spans both state and national levels, having served on various electoral committees of the APC. He also previously worked with former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, where he served as Special Assistant on Political Matters for the South-West region.
In his political journey, Prince Oladega had aspired to represent Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly and also contested for the chairmanship position of Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), further demonstrating his longstanding commitment to public service and leadership.

Academically, he holds a degree in Mass Communication from Lagos State Polytechnic. Beyond politics, he boasts over two decades of professional experience as a radio and television broadcaster, earning a reputation as a skilled communicator and media personality.

Described as hardworking and dedicated, Prince Oladega Ibrahim Kehinde is married with children. His appointment is widely seen as a recognition of his loyalty, experience, and contributions to the growth and success of the APC in Lagos State.
