
In a landmark legislative engagement, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has formally presented the 2026 Fiscal Appropriation Bill to the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Legislative Council. The proposed budget, aptly titled “Budget of Continuous Transformation Towards Renewed Hope,” reflects the administration’s resolve to consolidate existing gains while deepening sustainable development across the LCDA.
While addressing members of the Legislative Council and other stakeholders, Otunba Anomo expressed profound appreciation to the legislators for their unwavering support since the inception of his administration and his re-election for a second term. He attributed the notable achievements recorded so far to unity of purpose, effective collaboration, and shared commitment to the progress of Ikosi-Ejinrin.
The Chairman highlighted key milestones of the administration and congratulated the legislators in advance on the imminent commissioning of the newly constructed Legislative Complex, describing it as a testament to the council’s institutional strengthening.
Otunba Anomo outlined the core focus areas of the 2026 budget to include Education, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Environmental Sustainability, and Economic Empowerment. He described the proposal as a consolidation of the outgoing fiscal framework, aimed at driving inclusivity, stimulating growth, and advancing the council’s transformation agenda. According to him, the budget is designed to serve as a beacon of hope for a more prosperous Ikosi-Ejinrin.
The presentation was witnessed by members of the management team and leaders of the Ikosi-Ejinrin APC, led by Otunba Nurudeen Yusuf, alongside the Party Chairman, Hon. Wittu Ajenifuja, and Party Secretary, Hon. Anthony Ajewole, among others.
In his remarks, the Leader of the House, Hon. Hassan Mustapha, commended the Executive Chairman for his relentless commitment and impactful leadership, noting that the administration’s programmes, projects, and facilitation efforts have significantly repositioned Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
He assured that the Legislative Council would discharge its constitutional responsibility by thoroughly reviewing the appropriation bill and expediting its passage, pledging that the budget would receive the priority attention it deserves.
