
Hon. Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju has concluded the distribution of exercise books Drive to primary schools in Ikorodu West LCDA. This initiative aims to support the educational development of pupils in the area. The exercise book distribution drive is part of the Chairman’s commitment to improving the quality of education in the Local Government.

The gesture, which took place on October 13, covered the following schools: Asanat Tomori, Igbo Olomu; Anglican Primary School, Igbo Olomu Junction, Isawo; UPE Primary School, Cole Village, Ajaguro; Togedejoye Community Primary School, Ojokoro Village; and Community Primary School, Itowolo, all in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The Executive Chairman, accompanied by members of the Executive Council and all Councilors, visited each of the schools to personally present the exercise books and address the pupils.
Speaking during the visits, Hon. Olanrewaju encouraged the pupils to remain focused and disciplined in their studies, reminding them that he also started as a student like them. He urged them never to allow anyone to write them off, to make the best use of the opportunities available, and to always seek knowledge by asking questions from their teachers.
The Chairman emphasized the importance of reading, saying, “Every pupils must read books, because a poor child who never stops reading will never remain poor.”
He concluded his address at each school with a warm “God bless you,” to the delight of students and teachers who expressed deep appreciation for the local government’s gesture.
The distribution exercise was marked by excitement and gratitude from both pupils and teachers, who described the initiative as timely and impactful.
The exercise book distribution is part of Ikorodu West Local Government’s ongoing effort to encourage learning and support educational development within the community.
