Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko has emerged as the Leader of the 6th Legislative House in Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

While Hon. Hakeem Sholawon emerged as the Deputy Leader, Hon. Habeeb Anifowoshe emerged as Majority Leader, Hon. Saidat Adeoba emerged as Chief Whip, and Hon. Yusuf emerged as the Deputy Majority Leader.

Following her emergence, Princess Banjoko expressed her gratitude to her colleagues, Party Leaders, Traditional Leaders, attributing their success in the election to collective effort.

In her address, Princess Banjoko assured the public that the 6th legislative house is committed to supporting the administration of Hon. Hammed Aroyewun to ensure a successful tenure. She emphasized that each councillor would do their best to represent their wards and bring the dividend of democracy to the people.

The Leader of the House called for continued support from the public, urging residents to communicate with them on matters of urgency within their communities.

Princess Banjoko emphasized the importance of collaboration between the legislative arm and the community, stating that together, they can make Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA a better place to live.

In his congratulatory message, Hon. Hammed Aroyewun, the Executive Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA expressed his confidence in the leadership abilities of the new leadership of the House and pledged his administration’s support and collaboration with the legislative arm, wishing them a successful tenure and looking forward to working together to achieve their shared goals and bring development to their constituents.
