
Prince Abdul-Lateef Adedayo Ladega, the Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, has pledged to work towards inclusive development in the area. In his inaugural address as he resume official duty on 28th of July, Prince Ladega expressed gratitude to the people of Ikorodu for entrusting him with the sacred responsibility to lead and serve, having garnered 38,946 votes.
He pledged to work tirelessly towards building a thriving Ikorodu, guided by three core pillars: inclusion, development, and accountability. His administration will prioritize education, security, and healthcare, ensuring transparency and accountability in every step taken.
He emphasized the importance of working together with the dedicated LGA staff, NULGE, community leaders, and stakeholders to achieve his vision for Ikorodu.
The newly sworn-in Chairman expressed his deepest appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, for their support. He also acknowledged the support of esteemed leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ikorodu Division, Royal fathers, including His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Dr. Kabiru Adewale Shotobi, GCIO, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ahmed Moroof Olakunle Ogunnaike, the Alagura of Agura.
Prince Ladega urged all residents to join hands with his administration to build an Ikorodu, where every child can dream, every family can thrive, and every community can prosper. With his vision for a better Ikorodu, Prince Ladega’s administration is poised to make a positive impact on the lives of residents. His commitment to inclusive development and accountability will guide his decision-making process as he works towards creating a brighter future for the community.
