Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, has engaged Party Executives in Wards and Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Ikorodu Division, charging them to deliver massively in the forthcoming Local Government Election. According to him, Ikorodu has always been at the forefront in delivering massive votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC), and he expressed his appreciation to the constituents for their unwavering support for the party and himself since he assumed office.

Rep. Benson also extended his gratitude to the leaders of the party for their roles and pledged to continue prioritizing the interests of Ikorodu in whatever he does. “We will ensure that Ikorodu comes first in whatever we do, as i have been doing,” he said.

In his remarks, Hon. Taiwo Orenuga, APC Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, highlighted the various achievements made by Rep. Babajimi Benson in Ikorodu Federal Constituency. He described Rep. Benson as the “messiah of the people,” citing his numerous achievements that have positively impacted the lives of the constituents. Hon. Orenuga’s endorsement is a testament to Rep. Benson’s dedication to his role and his constituents.

Prince Lanre Balogun also commended Rep. Benson’s unprecedented achievements, noting that he has delivered quality roads and implemented various empowerment programs. According to Prince Balogun, Rep. Benson is an outstanding representative who has made a significant impact in the constituency through his achievements in infrastructure, huge empowerments, education, and other areas. These achievements have endeared him to the people, who appreciate his efforts in improving their lives.

The APC Chairman Ikorodu Division, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani, said that in the future, whoever will take over from Rep. Babajimi Benson will see all these achievements, and it will serve as a model for upcoming generations who aspire to hold the office. He tasked the party executives to canvass for votes and encourage people to come out and vote for the party’s respective candidates in the forthcoming election.

Otunba Tijani also announced that the party would be organizing a roadshow for the candidates. According to him, the roadshow will take place on Monday for Constituency 1 Chairmanship candidates, on Tuesday for Constituency 2, and on Wednesday for the whole Division, courtesy of Rep. Babajimi Benson. The highlight of the Wednesday event will be a performance by Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, the Fuji maestro, who will entertain the audience.
