I extended my heartfelt gratitude to the People’s Representative Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, for giving me the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Training Program on Agricultural Machinery for Protecting Food Security for Developing Countries. This 3-week program, organized by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences Group Co., Ltd. (CAAMS) and sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, has been a truly enriching experience.
The training provided invaluable insights into agricultural mechanization, with a perfect blend of lectures and practical sessions. We visited state-of-the-art agricultural industries, laboratories, and testing centers, witnessing firsthand the innovative machinery that can revolutionize farming in Nigeria.

– YTO Innovation Centre: Exploring innovative solutions.
– National Agricultural Machinery Equipment Innovation Centre: Discovering cutting-edge equipment.
– Luoyang Xiangrui Technology: Witnessing technological advancements.
– Kaifu Machinery: Exploring agricultural machinery solutions.
– Chenhan Agricultural Machinery Equipment Company: Witnessing equipment manufacturing.
– Nong Haha Machinery Group: Discovering innovative machinery.
– Hebei Mengbang Company: Witnessing agricultural machinery solutions.
– Field Training: Implementing and detecting grain engineering techniques at Zhengzhou.
As the end of the whole session got nearer, we participated in a seminar on Development Trends of Agricultural Machinery Technology for Food Security, which marked the culmination of our lectures and facility visits. We received renowned certificates and participated in a farewell luncheon, sharing reports on our countries’ agricultural strengths and needs.
The trip to the Great Wall of China was a memorable experience, teaching us about perseverance and historical significance.
This experience has been an eye-opener, I am grateful for this opportunity and appreciate the efforts of Rep. Babajimi Benson for making this possible.
