The Vice Chairman (Lagos East) of NYCN Lagos; Comr Asoro Abubakri Olatunji ACArb has congratulated Rep Babajimi Adegoke Benson MHR on his award as Ikorodu Man of the year. He described the award as an homebase reaffirmation of his recent National Award as Rep of the Year by Arise TV. “We are all a product of your progressive and developmental political school of leadership” he said.

In the same vein, he congratulated Hon (Chief) Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju FCA FCTI. He described the award as well deserved noting that his developmental stride in Ikorodu West is evident and has reshaped the landscape of the LCDA. He noted that these landscape projects include the new Chairman complex, the new Westend Hall, road projects, markets, schools, health centres and so on. Being a youth friendly Chairman, he noted that young people under his administration have gotten support like never before in the history of the LCDA. He described the award as a round peg in a round hole.

He also send congratulations to all NYCN families who make it to the list including Supervisor for Woman and Poverty Allocation, Ikorodu West who is the former Social Secretary of NYCN Ikorodu West, a Director of Lagos Youth Development Institute and a critical stakeholder of the youth council. Also on the list is Hon Muyideen Yusuf Olatunji; Former Coordinator NYCN Ikorodu West and a critical leader of the NYCN in the division.

Others include the Deputy State Chairman; Sen Comfort Olafare and Comr Leke Aroyewun; State Legal Adviser.

The Vice Chairman noted that this is an affirmation that the youth council is a versatile ground for breeding prospective leaders who will stand tall among their peers any day, any time
