Builder Olusesan Daini, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, yesterday, 21st of March hosted an iftar to break fast, bringing together Muslim clerics, leaders, and faithfuls in the community. This gathering is a testament to Daini’s commitment to fostering unity and harmony among people of different faiths.

In his remarks, Daini shared a heartfelt message, stating that hosting the iftar was a divine calling from Almighty God, urging him to express gratitude for the blessings in his life. He also saw this as an opportunity to show appreciation to his spiritual leaders for their guidance and support.

Furthermore, Builder Daini emphasized the importance of unity and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths, saying, “As we break our fast together, let us remember that we are all children of God, and that our diversity is a strength, not a weakness. Let us continue to work together towards a more harmonious and prosperous community.”

Sheikh Luqman Abdulrasaq, Chief Missioner of Ansar Ud Deen, Igbogbo branch, emphasized the importance of unity in his recent lecture. He stressed that unity is essential for a community to excel, citing the example of the human body’s systems working together in harmony. Without unity, he warned, progress is impossible.

Sheikh Abdulrasaq praised the Chairman of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA for promoting unity among different religions, bringing Muslims and Christians together. This, he noted, demonstrates peaceful coexistence and a commitment to interfaith understanding.

The Sheikh also commended the Chairman for showing interest in the Islamic system, despite being a Christian. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to come together with Christian pastors and Muslim faithful to rejoice and thank God for the Chairman’s leadership.

In the month of Ramadan, Sheikh Abdulrasaq reminded Muslims of the seven principles of the holy month. He emphasized the importance of taqwa (fear of Allah), peace, harmony, generosity, and self-reliance. Ramadan, he said, serves as a spiritual cleansing, purifying the body, morals, and economy.

He concluded by urging Muslims to take advantage of Ramadan to change their lives and strive for a better future.

According to Imam Zaaq Folorunsho Fagba, Chief Imam of Amaullah Islamic Foundation in Igbogbo, he said Daini’s leadership style has fostered cooperation and inclusivity, earning him the love and respect of the people.

He highlighted Daini’s achievements, saying, “He came, he saw, and he conquered.” Imam Fagba expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for Daini’s wonderful work in the community, which has been greatly appreciated.
