
Hon. Taoreed Hakeem Babajide, popularly known as AK is OK, has launched a community food outreach program in Ijede, where he distributed 500 food palliatives and stipends for transportation to vulnerable residents. This initiative aims to support Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba’s bid for a second term as Chairman of Ijede LCDA.
According to Hon. Babajide, supporting Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba’s re-election bid is crucial for the continued development of Ijede community. He stated that her administration has made significant strides in infrastructure development, education, women and youth empowerment, among others.

Hon. Babajide emphasized that by supporting Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba for a second term, she will build on her existing achievements and do even more for the community. The community food outreach program is just one example of the positive impact that Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba’s leadership can have on the lives of Ijede residents.
He stated that he has been doing this since 2021 to support the people in the community, but this year he dedicated it to the workaholic Chairman of Ijede LCDA.
The event, which took place at the TBT Event Center, was attended by various stakeholders, including community leaders, women groups, and youth organizations. Beneficiaries of the food palliatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Babajide and Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba for their kindness and generosity.

Mrs. Abosede Ogunyemi, a single mother of three, thanked Hon. Babajide and Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba for the food palliatives, saying it would go a long way in feeding her family. “I’m so grateful for this kind gesture,” she said. “It’s a big relief for me and my children.”
Alhaji Sulaiman Ayinde, a community leader, praised Hon. Babajide and Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba for their commitment to the welfare of Ijede residents. “This food outreach program is a clear demonstration of their love and care for our community,” he said.
Mrs. Felicia Adekunle, an aged beneficiary, thanked Hon. Babajide and Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba for the food palliatives, saying it will feed her for days. “I’m so thankful for this kind gesture,” she said. “It’s a big blessing for me.”
