Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA was abuzz with excitement today, 4th of March as the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Adeboruwa Palace took place.

The historic event, performed by Oba Abdulsemiu Orimadegun Kasali, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, marked the beginning of a new era for the kingdom. Builder Olusesan Daini, Executive Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA the initiator of the project, was praised by the monarch for his laudable initiative.

In his address, Builder Olusesan Daini, in his address, emphasized that the King deserves an ultra-modern palace, which will also bring joy to the residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA. He recalled his consultation with the King in 2016, where the monarch advised him to do good for Igbogbo Kingdom if he became chairman. Daini expressed his happiness in commencing the project, which has been duly approved by the Lagos State Governor.

According to Daini, the palace will be a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with modern amenities. The project will include offices, an archive office to preserve Igbogbo Kingdom’s historical records, fully air-conditioned offices for the King and other workers. The project is expected to be completed within 6 months.

Chief Tajudeen Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, in his full capacity as the Odofin of Igbogbo and the Head of Igbogbo Chiefs, praised Daini’s performance, noting that his actions will be remembered in Igbogbo Kingdom’s history.

“No one would have thought Daini would perform this way,” Chief Onasanya said. “He is a young man, and our King is also a young man, It’s during our King’s reign that this happened in Igbogbo Kingdom. What Daini has commenced today is a great history, and he’ll never be forgotten.”

The occasion was attended by notable figures, including Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Asiwaju Kaoli Olusanya, and eminet personalities in Igbogbo Kingdom who all applauded the historic event.

Hon. Adebimpe Akinshola, former Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, expressed her pride and gratitude towards Daini. She praised Daini for not disappointing the community and stated that she is proud of his achievement.

Akinshola also thanked Daini for laying a historic foundation for Igbogbo Kingdom, noting that his efforts will never be forgotten.
