Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has reiterated her dedication to empowering women in the country. During a courtesy visit from the Department of State Security (DSS) delegation, led by Deputy Director-General Mrs. Afolashade Adekayaoja, Senator Tinubu emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to inclusion of women in leadership roles.

The First Lady expressed gratitude for the visit, highlighting the administration’s priority on empowering women and ensuring their active participation in decision-making. She stressed the importance of recognizing and rewarding hardworking women, noting that women in leadership positions represent others across the country.

Senator Tinubu hopes that women in leadership will support each other, collaborate, and diligently discharge their responsibilities to drive national progress. Mrs. Adekayaoja commended President Tinubu and the First Lady for advancing women’s causes and placing women in key leadership positions.
