…. Inspects Ongoing Work at Reri Community Secondary School

In fulfillment of his electoral campaign, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Ikorodu Constituency 2, on Thursday, 9th January, 2025, laid the foundation for his facilitated 18-classroom project at Lajo Community Secondary School, and inspected Ongoing Work at Reri Community Secondary School in Igbogbo-Bayieku LCDA.

Hon Abiodun expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to fulfill his promise. He also thanked Builder Olusesan Daini, Chairman of Igbogbo Bayieku LCDA, for his continuous support for developmental projects in the community. Additionally, he commended the Baale of Lajo community for his steadfastness and commitment to the community’s growth.

As a dedicated lawmaker, Hon Abiodun has been actively involved in various developmental projects in his constituency. His commitment to improving the lives of his constituents is evident in his efforts to provide quality education and infrastructure.

The project, which includes the construction of 18 classrooms, a fence, gatehouse, and full shed, is part of the Lagos State Government’s initiative to rehabilitate schools through the Committee on Rehabilitation of Schools. Hon Abiodun appreciated the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for approving the project, stating that he had personally informed the Governor about the school’s needs, and the Governor immediately approved the project.

He also acknowledged the support of  Builder Olusesan Daini, who he insisted should be present to oversee the project’s progress.

Furthermore, Hon Abiodun appreciated everyone’s support and encouraged them to continue backing his party and the government, as he fulfilled his campaign promise.

Builder Olusesan Mayorkun Daini Commends Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun for Facilitating 18-Classroom Project

Builder Olusesan Mayorkun Daini, Chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, expressed his gratitude to Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun, for facilitating the project at Lajo Community Secondary School under Ward C1, Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.

Daini praised AMA for keeping his promise to his constituents, demonstrating his commitment to their welfare and development. He also thanked the Baale of Lajo Community, for his tireless efforts in promoting the community’s growth, noting that the land used for the school was initially intended for the Baale’s palace, but he selflessly chose to prioritize the community’s development.

Furthermore, Daini acknowledged the contributions of the counselors, his chief of staff, the head teacher, supervisors, and everyone present at the event. He revealed that he had requested the structural drawing of the project, which includes 18 classrooms, a fence, security lab, and a laboratory. This laboratory, Daini believes, will equip students with the skills needed to compete in the global space.

Daini emphasized that the beauty of democracy lies in serving the people, prioritizing their needs, and making them a priority. He commended Hon Abiodun for embodying this spirit of democracy.

The Baale of Lajo community thanked the honorable and the chairman because he knows this marks the beginning of great things for his community. He prayed that God continue to bless them and help them achieve more and may they never get tired nor wary in the journey of service to humanity

The principal, Mrs Elizabeth Agboola thanked Hon. Aro Moshood who facilitated the building, she expressed her gratitude to the Government for doing this for the students because the school is in a very bad state and needs the timely intervention. She thanked the Baale who gave them the space and he even left his house so teachers and students could occupy it.

The contractor handling the project at Lajo Junior Secondary School disclosed that the project is expected to be completed within 9 months, while the contractor at Reri Senior Secondary School assured that the project will be completed within 6 months.

Lajo Community Hails Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun for Fulfilling his Campaign Promises

The Chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA) in Lajo, Comr. Ajayi, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Hon Aro Moshood Abiodun for fulfilling his campaign promises to the community.

The CDA Chairman also appreciated the Baale of Lajo community for donating his palace land for the benefit of the community’s children.

Comr. Ajayi seized the opportunity to request for a senior secondary school in the community. He noted that the current arrangement forces children to travel long distances after completing their junior secondary school education.
