Rep. Babajimi Benson Member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency appreciate the good people of his constituency for electing him to represent them one more time at the green chamber at the just concluded election which took place February 25th and he also appreciate them for electing for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Nigeria President elect.

In the same vein Rep. Babajimi Benson canvassed for the Re-election of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gbolahan Ogunleye for Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 1, and Aro Moshood Abiodun for Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 2.

Speaking at his monthly iCare food bank “Apo Anu” He plead with the people at the event to vote for Sanwo-Olu on Saturday 11th of March He said “Everyone here are the canvassers, let everybody look for ten people each and convince them to vote for APC, as for me I am compiling the names of the polling units with the highest votes for APC before Saturday and we will be compensating them.”

“We scored the highest votes at the just concluded election on the 25th of February, let us increase the 60,000 votes to 100,000 votes, we can do it and we will achieve it by God’s grace “

“The Governor however sent me to you , that he will be compensating the unit with the highest votes, I implore you to vote for infrastructure, electricity and many more good things coming our way.”

Another one thousand food packs were distributed to the residents of Ikorodu federal constituency for the march edition of the iCare Foundation food bank, this has been the monthly routine by the Rep. Babajimi Benson iCare Food Bank, since 2016.

Hon. Gbolahan Adetokunbo Ogunleye the APC candidate for the seat of Ikorodu constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly flag off his campaign on Monday, 13th of February at the ita elewa open field in Ikorodu.

The All Progressives Congress APC Local Organising Committee put together the well organized official flag off for Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye Ikorodu constituency for Lagos State House of Assembly 1, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for President, Babajide Sanwo-Olu for Governor, Tokunbo Abiru for Senate, Babajimi Benson for House of Representatives, and Aro Moshood Abiodun for Lagos State House of Assembly Ikorodu Constituency 2.

Prince  Abiodun Ogunleye, members of the prestigious Governance Advisory Council, GAC, Otunba Bushura Alebiosu, Asiwaju Reuben Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Rt Hon Adeyemi Ikuforiji urge the residents to vote for all the APC candidates in the forthcoming election.

At the rally, Senator Abiru appealed to the people to support and give a record highest number of votes for the Presidential Candidate of APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr Obafemi Kadri Hamzat, for humble self, Rep. Babajimi Benson and all candidates of the APC.  

Senator Tokunbo Abiru admonished APC flag bearer for Ikorodu Constituency 1, to sustain the tradition of impressive governance that has become the hallmark of the APC.

The meeting had stakeholders across Imota LCDA and Hon. Nurudeen Saka Sholaje in attendance; the meeting gave all the strata of APC leadership in Imota LCDA unique opportunity to express their readiness to support the campaign, mobilize and vote for Hon. Abiodun Moshood Aro, as well as all APC Candidates in the forthcoming elections.



Hon. Sholaja, in his speech, gave verbal go ahead to his political group to give AMA their total and undivided support to make sure Imota have more votes cast ahead of Ijede LCDA in favour of all APC Candidates in the forthcoming elections.

He further prayed for AMA to be prolific in his legislative duties with unprecedented favour at the chamber.

As part Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, AMA birthday celebration and schedule for the forthcoming general elections, ALL STARS IMOTA hosts ALL STARS IJEDE in a goalless draw novelty match, today Saturday 24th December.

According to AMA, the Novelty match is an amazing show of love which was met with emotional gratitude.

AMA further added that similar novelty matches are scheduled to be played between ALL STARS FOOTBALL CLUB IJEDE, IGBOGBO, ELEPE, OLU-ODO, ALABIYAMO AT BAIYEKU and many others in Ikorodu Constituency II.

He also urged people that registered for new PVC, revalidation, defaced, transfer to collect their PVCs and vote for all APC Candidates.

HON. ARO MOSHOOD ABIODUN (AMA) MEETS WITH PARTY EXECUTIVES, PARTY LEADERS IN IKORODU CONSTITUENCY II ~Ajasa-Info

Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) held a town hall meeting of APC leaders in Ikorodu Constituency II.

In attendance were Ward and LGA Executives, Ward Councillors, Executive Committee Members and the forty (40) Local Government Delegates across Ikorodu Constituency II.

The objective of the town hall meeting was to achieve purposeful reconciliation before going into the 2023 general elections.

Megalite event centre in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA was the venue for the LGA’s and Ward Executives consultation meeting yesterday 22nd of November 2022.

In his speech, Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun (AMA) expressed gratitude towards the leaders for the epoch-making responses to his call for the town hall meeting and readiness to work as one big family to record a landslide victory for all APC Candidates in the soon coming election.


Appreciating everyone for taking out their time to attend the meeting, AMA stated that soon enough, he’ll be taking his campaign to the constituency 2 regions i.e Igbogbo Baiyeku, Ijede LCDA and Imota LCDA, soliciting a massive show of support from all party loyalists.

Vowing his pursuit not to disappoint Leaders, Supporters, predecessors, AMA exhorted party-eligible voters to turn up en mass to vote for him during the election.


He continued, “My mission is to deliver quality representation for the good people of Ikorodu constituency 2 at the Lagos state house of Assembly, capitalising on the great feats attained by my forebears”.


“As a progressive; representing Ikorodu constituency 2 will keep me busy developing our region, likened to genuine inhabitants and government relationships”.
Illuminating different sectors he maintains interest to enhance across the region, AMA said that health, education, empowerment and social development would be his priority if elected.
According to him, youths will be committed to various work schemes in Igbogbo Baiyeku, Imota and Ijede while further plans will be put in place to ensure the community is safe for business.

Further charging stakeholders in attendance, Chairman of Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA, Bldr. Olusesan Daini called on all members to turn up and deliver a landslide victory to the party flag-bearers.


Bldr. Daini continued “We have over 100 polling booths in Igbogbo, 70 in Imota and 40 in Ijede, with 15 votes from each booth we’ll realise 3,000 accrued votes from constituency 2 to propel our candidates”.

Directing his words of guidance towards the constituency 2 candidate, Daini implores Hon. Abiodun not negate the promises he made to both leaders and supporters once he emerged victorious.

Expanding that AMA should gaze at the exemplary works of his predecessors and utilise them as a template to improve his constituency further.

“You should not get to the house of Assembly and stop listening to your leaders or people, it is a place for you to put the interest of the people first” Diani asserted in advising Hon. Moshood.
Former chairman of Ijede LCDA, who also contested for the house of assembly seat at the primaries, expressed his enthusiasm on the turnout and essence of the stakeholder’s meeting.


Hon. Fatiu Salisu noted, “It is the first stakeholders meeting AMA is having after his victory at the primaries, and to me, the meeting has been a fruitful outing because virtually all stakeholders from constituency 2 are present pledging their support”.


“We’re using this opportunity to also let the world know that we’re fully behind Hon. Moshood Abiodun Aro, which we’re going to demonstrate during the elections by the special grace of God”.
Adding that it’s Ijede’s turn to take a competent candidate to the house of assembly, Hon. Fatiu concluded that all hands must be on deck to ensure AMA emerge victorious.


Similarly, the Executive Chairman of Imota LCDA, Prince Wasiu Kunle Agoro and the Council Boss of Ijede LCDA, Hon Motunrayo Gbadegbo-Alogba took the stage to substantiate their massive support for Hon. Moshood Aro, who they deem a whiff of fresh air and a new era to the development of the people and the party.

Mr. Oluwatosin Onamade instituted a suit asking the Supreme Court to set aside the judgements of Federal High Court and Court of Appeal, which affirmed the legitimacy of Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun’s victory as the APC’s Lagos State House of Assembly Candidate, Ikorodu Constituency II.

The matter came up for hearing before the Supreme Court today, 22nd November 2022.

The Supreme Court considered that the Court of Appeal and the Federal High Court found that the Appellant suit was statute-barred from the trial court, the Supreme Court struck out the Appeal for want of merit.
