… Councillors Pass Vote of Confidence, Endorse Chairman for Second Term

In a landmark event, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, presented the 2025 fiscal appropriation bill to the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Legislative Council. Aptly titled the “Budget of Sustainable Development,” the proposal underscores the administration’s commitment to sustained progress and innovation in the LCDA.
Addressing the legislators and stakeholders, Otunba Anomo expressed profound gratitude for their unwavering support since the inception of his administration. Reflecting on the collective achievements, he emphasized that unity and shared commitment have been the foundation of the remarkable strides recorded in Ikosi-Ejinrin.
The Chairman detailed the budget’s focus on priority areas such as Education, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Environment, and Economic Empowerment. He described it as a transformative roadmap aimed at fostering inclusivity and driving sustainable progress. According to him, this budget will serve as a beacon of hope, paving the way for a brighter and more prosperous Ikosi-Ejinrin.
Otunba Anomo called on residents to maintain their support for his administration, particularly in implementing the 10-year Ikosi-Ejinrin Administrative Blueprint unveiled at the beginning of his tenure. He reaffirmed his dedication to “building bridges, breaking barriers, and inspiring transformative dreams within the LCDA.”
The presentation was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu, members of the Executive Cabinet, and the Management team.
The Leader of the House, Hon. Hassan Mustapha, commended the Chairman and his Executive Cabinet for their relentless efforts and outstanding commitment to transforming Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA. He highlighted the administration’s impactful programs, projects, and facilitation efforts, which have significantly reshaped the LCDA.
Hon. Mustapha announced that the six legislators unanimously passed a vote of confidence in Otunba Anomo’s leadership. In a resounding endorsement, they publicly called on party stakeholders and residents to support his re-election for a second term, declaring that “Ikosi-Ejinrin is indeed in safe hands with Anomo.”
Assuring swift legislative action, Hon. Mustapha reiterated the House’s constitutional duty to thoroughly review and expedite the passage of the budget into law, pledging that the legislature would give the appropriation bill the priority it deserves.
