The organizing committee of the highly anticipated Igbogbo Magical Festivista 2.0 has unveiled plans for the second edition of the event, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. The festival, sponsored by Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, promises to celebrate culture, tourism, entertainment, and social development.

At a press briefing held in the conference hall of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, key stakeholders, vendors, and members of the media gathered to discuss preparations for the event. To ensure a structured marketplace, the committee suggested regulating vendors by only allowing those who paid for designated spaces to participate in selling their goods. Eshinlokun Abiodun Mumuni, Public Relations Officer of the Community Development Council CDC, endorsed this suggestion, emphasizing the importance of creating a sense of unity among attendees .

The committee also addressed security concerns, assuring the public that adequate plans are in place to ensure the safety of all attendees. They highlighted their collaboration with security agencies like the Nigerian Police, Mopol 63, Local Joint Task Force, Lagos State Neighborhood Corps, and LASTMA.

The festival’s programming promises to captivate audiences of all ages, featuring music performances from renowned local and A-list artists such as 9ice, Dhee P, TY Sleek, alongside various side attractions showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
