… Applauds Banjo’s Outstanding Delivery in Ikorodu North LCDA

October 8, 2024, marked a significant milestone in Ikorodu North LCDA as Rep. Babajimi Benson, Member of the House of Representatives for Ikorodu Federal Constituency, commissioned an ultramodern complex built by the administration of Builder Deola Banjo, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA. The complex houses a legislative chamber, customary court, multipurpose hall, and a new secretariat chapel. This landmark achievement is a testament to the administration’s commitment to infrastructural development in Ikorodu North LCDA.
The Ultra modern complex was named after Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, while the Multi-purpose hall was named after Rep. Babajimi Benson and the Chapel was named after Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Bashorun.
Rep. Babajimi Benson applauded Banjo’s outstanding achievements as Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA. He said Banjo’s commitment to delivering key infrastructure projects, including the recently commissioned road at federal low-cost, as a testament to his people-first approach. He encouraged Banjo to sustain his developmental strides, and do more for the people.
Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, expressed gratitude to Hon. Babajimi Benson for his dedication to the council’s growth. He recognized the commissioning of a landmark project at Lambo Lasunwon, executed by Hon. Benson, as a testament to his commitment.
He emphasized that the commissioning marks a watershed moment in the history of Ikorodu North LCDA, crowning two weeks of project unveiling and demonstrating the council’s commitment to Governance, justice, and community development.
He noted that the council has ushered in a new era of progress, inclusivity, and resilience. Yesterday’s commissioning of the landmark project at Lambo Lasunwon, executed by Hon. Benson, was another historic moment.
Builder Deola Banjo acknowledged the contributions of past leaders, including Hon. Kunle Ogunbela, Mr. Keshinro, and Hon. Jokomba, who laid the foundations and expanded the council’s secretariat building.
He stressed that the ultramodern legislative complex, customary court, and multipurpose hall address long-standing challenges. The complex provides offices for councillors, the Leader, Clerk, and administrative staff, while the customary court enhances justice at the grassroots level.
He highlighted the significance of the multipurpose hall, ending the need for rented canopies and chairs. Other commissioned projects include Gbaga Secondary School, medical outreach center, 40-bed primary health center in Akaun, Low-Cost Estate Road, and Agbede-Idera Link Bridge.
He honored the late Moruf Onileyan, whose contributions left a lasting impact on the council, by naming the building after him. He also recognized the importance of inclusivity, providing a Secretariat Chapel alongside the recently completed mosque.
Builder Deola Banjo, highlighted the council’s achievements over the past two weeks, including the establishment of primary schools, reconstruction of classrooms, and provision of benches and lockers.
As the administration enters its final year, He reaffirmed its dedication to uplifting the lives of Ikorodu North LCDA citizens. He emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving progress.
He concluded by urging the community to continue praying for their leaders and supporting the council’s initiatives.
