
On July 29, 2024, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), convened an expanded security stakeholders meeting to address potential security concerns and promote collaboration among community groups.

The meeting was attended by dignitaries including the Vice-Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Leader of Council, DPO of Akodo Police Station, Royal Fathers, Baale in Council, Gazetted Baale’s, and representatives from various groups such as RTEAN, League of Imams and Alfas, Christian Associations of Nigeria, and NULGE e.t.c.
The meeting’s objectives were to strengthen community security, prevent unrest, and promote collaboration among stakeholders. To achieve these goals, the meeting resolved to implement measures such as deploying additional security personnel, installing surveillance cameras, and conducting regular patrols.
