Hon. Salau Rukayat Ibukun AJIBIKE, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Ikorodu West LCDA, attended the monthly meeting of the Ikorodu Division chapter of the National Council for Women Society in Nigeria, held at the Ikorodu West LCDA premises.

During the assembly, Hon. Salau emphasized the importance of empowering women in the community, highlighting the need for resources and guidance to enhance self-sufficiency and financial independence. She outlined strategies to develop opportunities for women to hone their skills and access higher potential tasks.

Hon. Salau also advised the women to guide their children and youths to shun protests. She encouraged them to focus on positive activities that contribute to their personal growth and the development of the community.

The Supervisor’s focus is on uplifting women in Ikorodu West LCDA through targeted empowerment programs, aimed at reducing poverty and promoting economic growth.
