
Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA held its annual Tree Planting Day celebration at the Council Secretariat, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. The event, themed “Nurture Our Future,” brought together community members and leaders to promote a greener future.
Representing Executive Chairman Builder Olusesan Daini, Vice-Chairman Hon. Nuraini Okedina-Maja stressed the crucial role of tree planting in combating climate change and ensuring a sustainable environment for future generations.
He emphasized, “Tree planting is essential in combating climate change and ensuring a sustainable environment for future generations.” He also highlighted various initiatives undertaken by the LCDA to promote environmental conservation, including proposed establishment of green zones and community gardens.
