Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, officially flagged off the construction of a 330-meter long road in Oremeta (Folashade Ibiwunmi) street. The road, which will be 7.3 meters wide and equipped with a complete drainage system.

Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba reaffirmed the implementation of the stakeholders’ meeting held on Monday. She emphasized that the information shared was not just audio but a tangible reality. The road development project is set to commence today, Wednesday, with all necessary preparations in place.

Contractors are already on the ground, and essential instruments and equipment are being delivered. Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba expressed the need for the cooperation of residents, neighbors, and the community at large. She gratefully acknowledged their promised hundred percent cooperation, which is crucial for the success of the project.

This road development serves as a significant development for the entire community, as it will connect two neighboring communities together. It is a testament to the commitment of Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba and the local government to enhance connectivity and improve the overall infrastructure.

Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun, representing Ikorodu 2 in the Lagos State House Assembly, emphasized the importance of continuing simultaneous work to achieve their goals. He highlighted the synergy between himself, the executive chairman, and the state government in driving development.

He stated “on the 28th, there will be a flag-off ceremony for the Ilupeju road, showcasing the commitment to infrastructure development. Additionally, he said Rep. Babajimi Benson plans to consult on the Ewu owa Abule Eko road before the end of the month.

Hon. Aro Moshood Abiodun commended the chairman, for the outstanding job she has done since assuming office.

Mr. Femi Jegede, the Council Engineer shed light on the engineering intricacies involved in the project, ensuring that all necessary measures were taken to ensure a successful and durable road construction.
