Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, launched the Ijede Tunrayo Traders Money initiative. Under this program, each individual received a disbursement of 20,000 naira.

Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, in her speech she said the program was organized to address the challenges faced by the community in light of the current state of the Nigerian economy.

Highlighting the administration’s commitment to improving the lives of the people, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba mentioned that her administration has been providing food palliatives on a quarterly basis since taking office. The most recent distribution occurred in April of this year.

During this distribution, a cash palliative of twenty thousand naira (₦20,000) was given to each resident. The Executive Chairman expressed her belief that this monetary support would have a significant impact on the lives of the citizens, especially during these challenging times.

Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba also took the opportunity to encourage kindness and support among the community members. She urged everyone to look out for one another, emphasizing the importance of unity in overcoming the current challenges. Additionally, she requested patience from the residents towards their political leaders and asked for prayers for the success of their agenda to make Nigeria a better place.

Hon. Hassan Adefarasin, a former Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, recently reiterated the statement made by the Executive Chairman, urging traders to utilize the distributed cash palliatives responsibly.

He also appealed to the residents to exercise patience and assured them that the present government is working diligently to improve the situation.

Hon. Fatiu Salisu, the former Chairman of Ijede LCDA, expressed his admiration for the Executive Chairman’s efforts in organizing the cash palliative distribution. In his remarks, he described it as a “2 in 1 impactful” initiative for the residents of Ijede LCDA.

Hon. Fatiu Salisu also urged the beneficiaries to utilize the funds judiciously, emphasizing the importance of responsible use. Additionally, he pleaded with the beneficiaries for their prayers for the continued success and progress of the local government leadership, hoping that they will continue to serve the community and improve the lives of the residents.

Alhaji Jamiu Adisa Baba, alias Golden Jay, expressed his admiration for the Chairman’s consistent efforts in implementing programs that benefit the residents of the community. He applauded the Chairman for her dedication to easing the challenges faced by the residents.

In addition, Alhaji Jamiu Adisa Baba urged the residents to make good use of the funds provided through these programs. He emphasized the importance of utilizing the funds for rightful purposes, ensuring that they bring positive and meaningful impact to the community.
