
Barrister Olatoun Adekoya an astute Legal Practitioner, and an aspirant vying for the position of Executive Chairman in Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, visited LG Primary School, Oreta to donate 25 new school uniforms to indigent pupils both male and female.
Barrister Adekoya said, she has earlier visited the school, few months back, she noticed that some of the students were wearing battered and tattered uniforms, prompting her to take action. She expressed her desire to bring joy and put smiles on the faces of these children, regardless of their parents’ backgrounds.
During her visit, the head teacher appreciated Barrister Adekoya for her kind gesture, also informed her that there were still more pupils in need of uniforms. In response, she promised to return and fulfill their needs. She collected a list of additional pupils who required uniforms and assured them that she would oblige.
In addition to providing uniforms, she also shared an inspiring message with the pupils. She encouraged them to break the glass ceiling and pursue their goals without allowing obstacles to hinder their progress. Quoting a popular saying, she emphasized that obstacles only become visible when one takes their eyes off the goal. By focusing on their aspirations, the pupils can overcome any challenges they may face.
