Rep. Babajimi Benson flag off the construction of the 1.6km Lambo Lasunwon road which coincide with his 52nd birthday celebration. This road marks the 45th road facilitated for the Ikorodu Federal Constituency and the 15th road facilitated for the Ikorodu North LCDA.

The contractor on-site has pledged to complete the road by the third quarter of the year.

Representing Rep. Babajimi Benson, Mayor Deen Sanwo-Ola Director General iCare Foundation highlighted the significance of launching the project on the legislator’s birthday, demonstrating his strong commitment to community welfare.

He also shared plans for future development, including the potential construction of Agbede road, and called for cooperation from residents and youths to ensure a smooth execution of the project.

Addressing the youths of the community, it was emphasized that there should be no disturbance to the contractor. Cooperation and good behavior were encouraged for the benefit of the community.

Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, a member of the GAC Lagos State, commended Rep. Benson for his outstanding work in the Ikorodu Division and his unwavering dedication to improving the welfare of his constituents.

Oba Olukayode David Raji, the Eweye of Isiwu, expressed his admiration for the multitude of projects being undertaken by Rep. Babajimi Benson in Ikorodu North and entire Ikorodu Division. The construction of the Lambo Lasunwon road has brought immense joy to everyone. “However, like Oliver Twist, we eagerly anticipate more from Rep. Babajimi Benson.”

Hon. Adeola Muyideen Jokomba, the Lagos State Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), also acknowledged Rep. Benson’s numerous projects in the Ikorodu North LCDA and urged residents to cooperate with the contractors.

Builder Deola Banjo, the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, expressed appreciation for Rep. Benson’s efforts, acknowledging that this marks the second road he has flagged off in Ikorodu North LCDA . “We are grateful for your good work, and may Almighty God be with you,” Banjo remarked.

Adding to the chorus of praise, Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani expressed admiration for Rep. Benson’s ability to consistently surprise the community. Tijani emphasized the significance of the Lambo Lasuwon road, recognizing it as a long-awaited project that brings much-needed relief to the people after years of suffering.
