
In response to the security concerns within Igbogbo-Baiyeku and Ijede LCDA The Chairmen; Builder Olusesan Daini of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA and Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba of Ijede LCDA issued a joint statement 9th of February, addressing the security concerns in their respective areas.
In their statement, the Chairmen reassured residents that the situation is under control and being effectively addressed by the State and Local Councils, along with all security agencies. They emphasized their commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the residents within their Local Council Development Areas.
To tackle the prevailing security challenges, the Chairmen have established collaborative efforts with the State Government, the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, the Local Joint Task Force, and other security agencies.
The Chairmen understand the concerns of the residents and want to assure everyone that they are on top of the situation. They are leveraging the support of the State Government and security agencies to implement robust security measures. They are also urging residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly.
In their joint statement, the Chairmen said, “Our communities are our top priority, and we are determined to foster an environment where residents feel safe and secure. We understand the concerns of our residents, and we want to assure everyone that we are on top of the situation. Collaboration is key, and we are leveraging the support of the state government and security agencies to implement robust security measures.”
They further added, “Community involvement in maintaining a secure environment is very important. Hence, we appeal to residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities promptly. We urge our community members to speak out if they notice any unusual movements or activities within their neighborhoods. Your cooperation is crucial.”
