In a bid to address the challenges faced by constituents and provide them with much-needed information, Rep. Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu federal constituency, held a meeting earlier today. During the meeting, he enlightened the Constituents on various steps taken by the federal and state governments to alleviate the current hardship in the country.

Rep. Babajimi Benson, the member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu federal constituency, In his address he said the president has not forgotten the people and is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by the nation. He acknowledged that the previous administration’s actions had a negative impact, but assured the audience that President Tinubu led administration is focused on the present and not dwelling on the past.

Regarding the fuel situation, Rep. Babajimi Benson explained that the president has deregulated fuel prices, allowing market forces to determine the cost. However, he made it clear that no one should increase the prices, and the Government is committed to ensuring fair fuel prices for the public.

Rep. Babajimi Benson also informed the audience about the establishment of an emergency food relief committee tasked with distributing food to the public. He mentioned that strategic food reserves would be released, leading to a reduction in food prices in the coming week. He encouraged patience and asked for prayers from the constituents.

He highlighted the Government’s focus on capital projects and the need for improved circulation of goods throughout the country. He mentioned that rice had been awarded to the legislative body and assured the constituents that within the next two weeks, the Ikorodu federal constituency would receive their supply, which he would distribute to everyone.

Despite the challenges faced, Rep. Babajimi Benson expressed his determination to address the needs of the people. He acknowledged the hunger in the community and assured them that their well-being is a priority. He emphasized the importance of a settled government and a thriving Nigeria for the success and happiness of all citizens and future generations.

He concluded by expressing his gratitude for the support and urged constituents to remain hopeful and patient. He assured them that tomorrow will be better and that he is committed to seeing everyone happy and smiling.
