The Executive Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Daini Olusesan earlier today presented the Year 2024 budget with the sum of #2,346,405,949.59.
Builder Daini Olusesan in his speech explained the amendment and implementation that will be done to the budget “The core agenda of Budget is directed at achieving more vibrant growths in education healthcare, infrastructures in road, water, drainages etc to drive positive and impactful changes as a lasting legacy.”
“Please note that everything we have done thus far is geared towards improving the standard of living of the generality of our citizens.
The Budget is tagged budget of strategic socio-economic transformation and growth was held on the 15th December, 2023 at the Igbogbo Baiyeku legislative chamber with Hon. Nurudeen Alimi as the leader of the council.
Through this budget, we want to add immense value for greater achievements.”
“Year 2024 Budget contains visionary policies and programmes that are set to improve the
local economy of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA and this has been dictated by needs analysis
and popular yearnings of our electorate.”
He however pleads with the people to support financially towards the accomplishments of the budget.
Hon. Nurudeen Alimi, the Council Leader of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, acknowledged the importance of the budget in bringing about strategic socio-economic transformation and growth in the community.
In his speech, Hon. Nurudeen Alimi appreciated all the attendees and thanked them for their presence and support. The budget for the year 2024, with the theme “Budget of Strategic Socio-Economic Transformation and Growth,” was presented, outlining the allocation of resources for the development of Igbogbo-Baiyeku.
The Council Leader emphasized the significance of the budget presentation, highlighting that it goes beyond its constitutional stipulation. He assured the community that the council will diligently perform their duties in executing the budget.
Hon. Nurudeen Alimi also advised everyone to execute their duties as stipulated in the budget, ensuring that the allocated resources are utilized effectively for the growth and progress of Igbogbo-Baiyeku.
The Council Leader, Hon. Nurudeen Alimi in his presentation of the 2024 budget said “Grading of our Roads across the council or inner roads, Construction of primary school in osorun And classes at the Anglican school, Fourthly construction of drainage in Oba Idaolu road and construction of drainage at the Elepe PHC.
Princess Basirat Adetutu Banjoko the Deputy Leader of the house, said she believes the roads in the inner roads should be graded as it will improving the living condition of the people, and give them comfort. She however pleads that the drainage in front of Elepe phcn and Ijaolu
HON. MKO Arowolo, however said “I believe that a primary school is needed in Oso run as soon as possible, being the chairman in charge of education, I can attest to it that in the year 2023, educational sector has enjoyed massive growth and turn around. I believe that we should look into the Anglican primary school in ward c3 at Ofin an urgent intervention is needed, a new school is also needed”.
