The Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba today led an inspection tour of the ongoing construction of the first model primary school in Igbe-Ogunro.

The intervention is line with her administration’s educational agenda to create access to universal basic education as well as learning opportunities.

The project consists of two blocks of four classrooms, staff rooms, toilets, an e-library, and an ICT centre. The school is expected to serve Igbe-Oloja, Igbe-Ogunro and Igbe-Kapo communities in Ijede LCDA.

The council boss, who was joined by members of the management team for the inspection, promised that the primary school will be completed and ready for use in the first quarter of next year.
