Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba Executive Chairman Ijede LCDA, earlier today distributed Educational Materials to Primary School pupils which include Exercise Books and School uniforms to Anglican Primary School, Egbin Kingdom Primary School, and Anwar Ul Islam Primary School, in Ijede LCDA.

Hon. Morunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of Ijede LCDA, has taken a significant step towards supporting education in the community. During a tour of the seven primary schools in Ijede, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba personally distributed exercise books and uniforms to the indigent pupils, highlighting the importance of parental and community involvement in the educational system.

With a firm belief in the power of education, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba urged the students to focus on their studies, make their parents proud, and listen attentively to their teachers. The initiative aims to alleviate the burden of educational expenses for parents and provide equal opportunities for all students in Ijede.

The distribution of exercise books and uniforms was meticulously planned, with the number of materials provided based on the pupils population of each school. This ensured that every pupil received the necessary resources to excel in their studies. The gesture not only lightened the financial load for parents but also served as a motivation for the pupils to actively engage in their educational journey.

Furthermore, Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba acknowledged the requests from the schools’ staff members and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.

In addition to the education support initiative, the Chairman also said the graduation ceremony for vocational students is approaching, showcasing the LCDA’s commitment to providing diverse educational opportunities. Moreover, the Okeletu Primary Health Center is set to be handed over, with the inclusion of an ambulance, further enhancing healthcare services in the community.

Hon. Gbadebo-Alogba emphasized the importance of cooperation and unity. By working together, the community can achieve even greater milestones and ensure a brighter future for the children of Ijede.

Oba Dr. Oriyomi Akeem Oyebo, the Obateru of Egbin Kingdom, He commended Hon. Morunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, the Executive Chairman of the LCDA, for her kind and impactful gesture of providing educational support to the Pupils.

Obateru emphasized the significance of primary education as the foundation for a strong educational system. He praised Gbadebo-Alogba’s efforts in the educational sector, recognizing her commitment to improving primary education in the LCDA.

Furthermore, Oba Dr. Oriyomi highlighted other areas of focus during his reign. In the health sector, he mentioned the provision of eye tests, donation of glasses, and dental treatments to promote the well-being of the community. Additionally, he established a football club, Obateru Brief, which participated in both amateur and professional levels of the Nigerian Football Association (NFA).

The teachers and students extended their immense gratitude and appreciation to Hon. Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba and the LCDA for their unwavering support for education in Ijede and implore her to do more.
