Rep. Babajimi Benson member House of Representatives, Ikorodu federal constituency has Empowered the market women and men from Ikorodu Division with cash support to support their businesses.

Rep. Babajimi Benson, member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu federal constituency, highlighted the importance of the empowerment program in providing relief to the market women during these challenging times.

He expressed his commitment to reaching out to as many individuals as possible and ensuring that everyone benefits from the program.

He said “We have choosen the market women and men from the five LCDAs and one LG of Ikorodu Division to give them some form of intervention,” Rep. Babajimi Benson stated.

He emphasized that this initiative is not a Government palliative but a personal endeavor. Recognizing the responsibilities and obligations faced by these hardworking women, he aims to inject capital into their businesses to create a multiplier effect, enabling them to have more financial resources to fulfill their needs.

The Empowerment program aims to support the market women and provide them with the means to enhance their businesses and livelihoods. Rep. Babajimi Benson’s personal commitment to this cause reflects his understanding of the challenges faced by these women, including the need to support their children’s education and fulfill other obligations.

Babajimi Benson because we are not expecting money from him, but for him to call us to come over for the supporting of the financial trench room, we appreciate him,”Chief Mrs Osho Adebukola stated. She further highlighted the joy and happiness experienced by the market women when they were called upon to receive support from the Honorable.

Rep. Babajimi Benson expressed his deepest condolences to the family and the people of Ikorodu division for the tragic loss of the talented musician MOHBAD. The entire community is grieving the loss of this iconic artist, whose music touched the hearts of many.
