In a heartfelt statement, she expressed her deep love for the children and her determination to ensure a successful back-to-school experience for them.
Her cherished back-to-school project has already seen two successful editions. In the first edition, she generously distributed 100 uniforms to pupils from Methodist and Ansarudeen Primary Schools in Igbogbo.
Continuing her efforts, she focused on supporting the girl child in the second edition by providing sanitary pads. During her visits to the schools, she discovered a pressing issue – the lack of access to water for the students.
This realization moved her to take action. Through prayer and determination, she sought to have functional water facilities before the students resumed. Today, her prayers have been answered as four fully functional taps have been installed, providing the children with a vital resource throughout their school day.
Not stopping there, Princess Basirat said she noticed two abandoned classrooms that were in dire need of renovation. In her selfless nature, she took it upon herself to ensure that these classrooms were fully renovated and ready for use.
